Legal Status & Registration
KMRA operates as a registered certification body in accordance with the applicable legal requirements governing conformity assessment services in Vietnam.
Our auditing and certification services are performed under the operational registration certificates No. 33/CN-TĐC, No. 3535/TĐC-HCHQ, and No. 751/TĐC-HCHQ, issued by the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ). These registrations confirm our compliance with the regulatory requirements applicable to certification bodies in Vietnam.

International Accreditation and Recognition
KMRA develops and maintains its assessment and certification activities based on professional competence, impartiality, independence, and consistency, with a commitment to providing reliable certification services that meet applicable national and international accreditation requirements.
• Accreditation by the Bureau of Accreditation (BoA)
KMRA is accredited by the Bureau of Accreditation (BoA) under VICAS 150 for management system certification programs, including:
- QMS – Quality Management Systems
- EMS – Environmental Management Systems
- OHSMS – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
- FSMS – Food Safety Management Systems
For QMS, the accreditation decision confirms that the certification body's system complies with ISO/IEC 17021-1 and ISO/IEC 17021-3, under accreditation number VICAS 150 – QMS. VICAS 150 – QMS Accreditation Decision;
For EMS, the applicable accreditation standards are ISO/IEC 17021-1 and ISO/IEC 17021-2, under accreditation number VICAS 150 – EMS. VICAS 150 – EMS Accreditation Decision;
For OHSMS, the applicable standards are ISO/IEC 17021-1 and ISO/IEC TS 17021-10, under accreditation number VICAS 150 – OHSMS. VICAS 150 – OHSMS Accreditation Decision;
For FSMS, the applicable standards are ISO/IEC 17021-1 and ISO 22003-1, under accreditation number VICAS 150 – FSMS. VICAS 150 – FSMS Accreditation Decision;
BoA accreditation confirms KMRA's competence to organize and conduct management system certification activities in accordance with applicable accreditation requirements, including competence management, audit implementation, technical review, and certification decision-making.
This accreditation provides an important foundation for KMRA to continuously strengthen impartiality, consistency, and reliability throughout the certification process, while delivering practical value to organizations and businesses using its certification services.
• International Accreditation and Cooperation
In addition to BoA-accredited certification programs, KMRA expands its certification service capabilities through cooperation with international certification organizations, helping meet the diverse certification needs of businesses in Vietnam.
Through its international certification partners, KMRA provides certification programs accredited by JAS-ANZ or IAS, offering businesses additional options when seeking certification programs with international accreditation and recognition.
