BOA CONDUCTS AN ACCREDITATION ASSESSMENT AT KMRA’S OFFICE
From 13 to 17 July 2026, the Bureau of Accreditation (BoA) conducted an accreditation assessment at KMRA’s office covering its certification activities for Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS), and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS). The assessment contributed to enhancing the competence and reliability of KMRA’s certification activities.
The assessment program was an important activity to evaluate the conformity of KMRA’s management system, technical competence, and implementation of certification processes against the applicable accreditation requirements and standards for management system certification bodies.
The assessment also demonstrates KMRA’s commitment to continuously improving its management system, strengthening professional competence, and maintaining impartiality, independence, and consistency throughout its certification assessment activities.

The Bureau of Accreditation (BoA) conducts accreditation programs for various types of conformity assessment bodies. For management system certification bodies, the VICAS program covers certification schemes such as QMS, EMS, FSMS, and OHSMS.
For management system certification bodies, accreditation requirements are established based on ISO/IEC 17021-1, together with the relevant sector-specific standards applicable to each certification scheme.
As part of the assessment program conducted from 13 to 17 July 2026, the BoA assessment team carried out an assessment at KMRA’s office to evaluate its management system and activities related to the certification process.

QMS – Quality Management System

Content of the Accreditation Assessment at KMRA’s Office
Throughout the assessment program, the BoA assessment team reviewed various aspects related to KMRA’s certification activities.
